🌱 Let me ask you something: is Health your number one priority today? 🌱
Let’s be brutally honest here. I guess no, and let’s face it, it’s not easy in our modern fast pace world to focus on this part of our life, and yet, THE most important one ⚠️.
I am of those who are not a big fan of DIET.
- 👉🏻 First because, in the word itself, it says “DIE”. It is how I feel thinking of doing a diet.
- 👉🏻Secondly, I don’t want to force myself to anything
- 👉🏻Thirdly: one of my pleasure in life, is to have excellent nurturing meals.
When I was working in the Bank as a branch manager, Health was definitely not my TOP priority, I weight 115 kilos, could barely climb one stair without breathing heavily and spent most of my time sleeping.
Was I happy, fulfilled and energetic as now? OF COURSE NOT.
I needed to take massive action towards my Health, So I started reading everything I could about diet, food, Health, Energy and all that kind of stuff. I finally found my TWO unicorns: Intermittent Fasting and PALEO.
Yes, one you are not eating at all, and the other one you eat like a caveman.
I did that right away, change my regime 🌯.
It has been great, I lost almost 30 kilos in the first 6 months, get Energy to do everything I wanted to do.
I started to move again. Soon enough I was going for Stand-Up Paddling 🏄♂️ at 5am without the need of an alarm (about an hour), then biking 🚴♀️ along the coast back in my country (40kms a day).
🍒🍒 The cherry on the cake of that: It was EASY and reliable.
It was something I really enjoyed doing, I was really excited about.
🔥🔥🔥 Impressive, isn’t it? It was AMAZING, I Felt OUTSTANDING, Got much Energy. My whole body was vibrating. 🎆🎆🎆
You might wonder: Why was it amazing? Isn’t it that great anymore? What happened?
I moved to 🦘 Australia 🇦🇺 !
Yes, I said it 🙈.
I was not prepared for what I was going to experience:
- food ads everywhere
- many places to eat opened 24/7,
- Food solicitations absolutely everywhere…
I get overwhelmed by all this “Food merchandising” and I get trapped🔒 I felt like everybody else…
↪️ I get back to my old behaviours.
I started by trying this Juicy Burger, then I began to have this Full breakfast in this new fancy place, and why not this $1 BigMac, that is so cheap…. And so on and on.
I am not really weight focused, so it did not bother me at first. I realised that I was on a dead-end path when I start to have a significant lack of Energy. I get “lazy”, begin to need my alarm to wake up, then I began to snooze the same signal, and now it took me like 30 minutes to get out of bed.
For me, it is not a matter of weight, it does not really matter. What is really IMPORTANT to me is the AMOUNT OF ENERGY I have every day.
How your life would be if you could wake up every single morning, rested, full of Energy ready to Bite Life like a LION. How would it be to ROAR every single morning as the Leader you are?
Because I want to feel that again, I decided to do a 5 days water fasting. I want to clean my whole body, to get rid of all the sugar, fat and dirt I put in it.
I want to get my ENERGY BACK, I want to feel OUTSTANDING again, I Want To ROAR Again.
I COMMIT MY SELF ON SOCIAL MEDIA TO DO A 5 DAYS OF WATER FASTING AND JOURNALING IN MY STORIES ABOUT HOW I FEEL DOING IT.
For you to know, The most extended fast I have done so far was 4 days in a row last year. To be honest, it was not by choices, last year, when I left my position as a Branch Manager in the Bank and just started my Coaching Business: I was in a financial situation where I could not afford to buy food. I invested all the money I get from my coaching sessions and seminar in my own training and coach: it was my priority. I wanted to serve my clients best.

The only thing I will allow my self is my Lemon/Apple Cider Vinegar in the morning. Also, I will do some workout a bit more to maintain my muscles and drink a lot of alkalized water (a commercial one as I do not have Kangen Water Yet if you have any recommendations be my guest).

After those 5 days, the very first meal I will have is a full shaker of HUEL. I need to tell my body that i will have food again smoothly and gently for my body. I want to treat it well, I won’t put like a significant amount of food right away.
